Using Josys MCP with ChatGPT Web Version

This page describes the steps to use Josys MCP with the web version of ChatGPT.

Steps

  1. Log in to Josys.
  2. Click "Settings" in the bottom left of Josys, then click "Developer".
  3. Click "+ Create" in the top right.
  4. When the pop-up appears, select "Access Token (for Josys MCP)".
    We recommend using a unique label that helps identify where and by whom it is being used.
  5. Once created, the token will be displayed. Please copy and save it. Note that it will not be shown again once you close the page.
  6. Open ChatGPT on the web.
  7. Click "Plugins" on the left side.
  8. Once the page loads, click the "+" in the top right, then click "Create Plugin".
  9. Enter the following details:
    Name: Any name of your choice
    *Connection: https://mcp.josys.it/mcp
    Authentication: Access token / API key
    Header scheme: Custom Header
    header name: x-agent-token

  10. When the pop-up appears, enter the Access Token you generated and saved from Josys.
  11. Click the button to save.

Please refer to the table below and change the URL in the Connection field as appropriate.

Try It Out in ChatGPT

  1. Open the chat screen.

  2. Once the chat is open, ask your question.


    You may be prompted to grant access permission to use the MCP. Please allow access when requested.
