Using Josys MCP in Cursor

This page describes the steps to use Josys MCP in Cursor.

Prerequisites

Download the Cursor desktop app.

Steps

  1. Log in to Josys.
  2. In the bottom left of Josys, click "Settings" > "Developer".
  3. Click "+ Create" in the top right.
  4. When the pop-up appears, select "Access Token (for Josys MCP)".
    We recommend using a unique label that helps identify who is using it and where.
  5. Once created, the token will be displayed. Please copy and save it. Note that it will not be shown again once you close the page.
  6. Open the Cursor desktop app.
  7. Click "Add Tool or MCP" at the bottom of the Automations page.
  8. When the menu opens, hover over "MCP Server" and click "+New Connection".
  9. Click "Add a custom MCP".
  10. Enter the details as follows:
    Server URL: https://mcp.us.josys.it/mcp
    HTTP headers Key: x-agent-token
    HTTP headers Value: The access token you just generated and saved from Josys
  11. Click "Add MCP" in the bottom right.

Please modify the URL as appropriate by referring to the table below.

Using in Cursor

  1. Click the "▲" button in the top right to run a test.

  2. Confirm that the information has been successfully retrieved.

Important Notes

In Teams / Enterprise plans, you may not be able to add MCP servers depending on your administrator's settings. In this case, please contact your organization's Cursor administrator.
