How to Find Your Microsoft MFA QR Code

It describes the steps to display the authenticator QR code used when setting up and managing multi-factor authentication (MFA / 2-step verification) for a Microsoft account.

Steps

Follow the steps below to display and check the authenticator QR code from the Microsoft account management screen.

1. Go to https://account.microsoft.com/security.
2. Click My Account > Security Info, and add a sign-in method.
   
3. Click "I want to use a different authenticator app."
   
4. Click "Next."
5. Once the QR code is displayed, take a screenshot of the QR code area. *It is fine if some margin is included.
   
6. Click "Next."
7. Click "Done" to complete the process.
