Integrating Postman with Josys enables the IT Admin to view and manage accounts.
Key benefits
When you integrate Josys with Postman, you can:
- View: List of user accounts, including their status, roles, groups, and timestamp when the user was last active.
- Perform action: Create user accounts.
Note: Josys supports multiple Postman integrations.
Prerequisites
Before you begin with the integration, make sure that you have:
- A Postman admin account
- The API Key and the SCIM Token
- A Professional or Enterprise plan
Locating the API Key
Step 1: Log in to Postman using an admin account. Navigate to the User Profile and select Settings.
Step 2: Select API keys and then click Generate API Key.

Step 3: Provide a name for identification of the API Key and click Generate API Key.

Step 4: Click Copy to Clipboard to copy the API Key for later use in the integration steps.

Locating the SCIM Token
Step 1: Log in to Postman using an admin account. Navigate to the Team and select Team Settings.
Step 2: Select Authentication and then click Generate SCIM API Key.

Step 3: Provide a name for identification of the SCIM API Key and click Generate.

Step 4: Click Copy to Clipboard to copy the SCIM API Key for later use in the integration steps.

Steps to Integrate
Step 1: Select Postman from the App Catalog in the Apps section.

Step 2: Provide a suitable Label for identification. Enter the API key and SCIM API Key copied in the previous sections.
Step 3: Click Next to proceed.

Step 4: After the integration is complete, allow some time for data synchronization. You can now view and perform required actions from the Managed Apps in the Apps section.
