Integrating Odoo with Josys enables the IT Admin to view and manage accounts.
Key benefits
When you integrate Josys with Odoo, you can:
- View: List of user accounts, including their status, roles, and timestamp of the latest authentication and login status.
- Perform actions: Archive and delete user accounts.
Note: Josys supports multiple Odoo integrations.
Prerequisites
Before you begin with the integration, make sure that you have:
- An Odoo admin account
- A Host, Database, Username, and an API Key.
- A Custom, Free, or Pro plan.
Locating the Database
Step 1: Log in to Odoo using an admin account. Navigate to User Profile and select My databases.

Step 2: On the following screen, copy the Database name for later use in the integration steps.

Locating the API Key
Step 1: Navigate to User Profile and select Preferences.

Step 2: Select the Account Security tab and then click on the New API Key.

Step 3: Enter your login password to proceed and click Confirm Password.

Step 4: Enter a description or purpose for this API key and click the Generate key.

Step 5: Copy the API Key for later use in the integration steps. Click Done to close the screen.

Steps to Integrate
Step 1: Select Odoo from the App Catalog in the Apps section.

Step 2: Provide a suitable Label for identification.
Step 3: Enter the Host in the respective field. Your login URL serves as the host. For example, if your login URL is https://abc-demo.odoo.com/, then this URL serves as the host for your Odoo instance.
Step 4: Enter the Database copied in the previous section.
Step 5: Enter your login Username in the respective field. For example, abc@email.com.Step 6: Enter the API Key copied in the previous section and click Next to proceed.

Step 7: After the integration is complete, allow some time for data synchronization. You can now view and perform required actions from the Managed Apps in the Apps section.
