Integrating HackerRank with Josys enables the IT Admin to view and manage the user accounts.   

Key benefits

When you integrate Josys with HackerRank, you can

• View: List of user accounts, including their status, roles, teams, timestamp of the user account creation, and when the user account was last active.
• Perform actions: Add a user account and send an email to another user.

Note: Josys supports multiple HackerRank integrations.

Prerequisites

Before you begin with the integration, make sure that you have:

• A HackerRank admin account
• An API Token
• A Starter, Pro, and Custom plan.

Locating the API Token

Step 1: Log in to HackerRank using an account with admin privileges. 

Step 2: Navigate to the User Profile at the top-right and select Settings.  

Step 3: Select API under User, then click New Token in the Token tab. 

Step 4: Provide a name to identify the API Token and click Generate Token.

Step 5: Copy the API Token to use later in the integration steps. Click Copy and Close.  

Steps to Integrate

Step 1: Select HackerRank from the App Catalog in the Apps section.

Step 2: Provide a suitable Label in the respective field. 

Step 3: Enter the API Token copied in the previous section and click Next to proceed.

Step 4: After the integration is complete, allow some time for data synchronization to occur. You can now view and perform required actions from the Managed Apps in the Apps section.
