Integrating Webroot with Josys enables the IT Admin to view the user accounts.
Key benefits
When you integrate Josys with Webroot, you can view a list of user accounts, including their status and roles.
Note: Josys supports multiple Webroot integrations.
Prerequisites
Before you begin with the integration, make sure that you have:
- A Webroot Admin Account
- A Business Plan
- The Client ID, Client Secret, Admin Username, Admin Password, and Keycode.
Locating the Client ID and Client Secret
Step 1: Log in to Webroot using an admin account. From the Settings menu, click the Utility API Access tab, and then click New.
Step 2: Enter a suitable Name and Description, and then click Next.
Step 3: Select "No" and click Next.
Step 4: Click Save.
Step 5: Copy the Client ID and Client Secret for later use in the integration steps.Step 6: Click I Have Made Note Of The Client Secret.
Locating the Keycode
Step 1: Log in to Webroot using an admin account. From the Settings menu, click the Account information tab.
Step 2: Copy the Parent Keycode to use later in the integration steps.
Steps to Integrate
Step 1: Select Webroot from the App Catalog in the Apps section.
Step 2: Provide a suitable Label for identification. Enter the Client ID and Client Secret copied in the previous section.
Step 3: Enter the Webroot Admin Username and Admin Password.
Step 4: Enter the Keycode that you copied in the previous section.
Step 5: After the integration is complete, allow some time for data synchronization. You can now view and perform required actions from the Managed Apps in the Apps section.
