Integrating Redash with Josys enables the IT Admin to view and manage accounts.
Key benefits
When you integrate Josys with Redash, you can:
- View: List of user accounts, including their status, roles, groups, timestamp when the user was last active, and email verification status.
- Perform actions: Create or disable user accounts.
Note: Josys supports multiple Redash integrations.
Prerequisites
Before you begin with the integration, make sure that you have:
- A Redash admin account
- The API Key and the Admin URL
Locating the API Key
Step 1: Log in to Redash using an admin account. Navigate to the User Profile and select Edit Profile.
Step 2: In the Account section, copy the API Key for later use in the integration steps.
Steps to Integrate
Step 1: Select Redash from the App Catalog in the Apps section.
Step 2: Provide a suitable Label for identification. Enter the API key copied in the previous section.
Step 3: Enter your Redash login URL in the Admin URL field. Click Next to proceed.
Note: For example, If the URL is https://redash.yourcompany.com/users/me, then https://redash.yourcompany.com is the Admin URL.
Step 4: After the integration is complete, allow some time for data synchronization to occur. You can now view and perform required actions from the Managed Apps in the Apps section.
