Tracking App Access Requests allows IT Admins to monitor the requests made by employees for specific apps within the organization. This ensures that the authorized employees are granted the appropriate permissions. Steps to Track App Access Request
Step 1: Log in to the Josys Admin Portal using your credentials.
Step 2: Navigate to the Access Requests menu to manage the app requests. The app requests are displayed in the Open and Completed tab. This screen will display the following details:
- Request: Specifies the type of request made to the IT Admin.
- App Name: The name of the app for which access is being requested.
- Requested For: The employee or department requesting access to the app.
- Requested On: The date and time the access request was submitted.
- Status: The current state of the access request, such as:
- New: The request has been created and is awaiting review; this is typically the initial state of the request.
- Assigned: The request has been assigned to a team or individual for investigation and action.
- In-Progress: The request is actively being worked on, with significant actions underway to resolve the issue.
- On-Hold: The request is temporarily paused due to external factors or pending additional information.
- Awaiting Employee Response: The request is waiting for further details or a response from the requester to continue.
- Pending Approval: The request is awaiting approval before proceeding with changes, solutions, or resources.
- Approved: The request has been reviewed and approved, and work can proceed.
- Rejected: The request has been reviewed and denied, meaning no further actions will be taken.
- Closed: The request is fully resolved and closed, indicating no further action is required.
- Assigned To: The person or team responsible for reviewing and processing the access request.

Step 3: To view the details of an app request and add comments, select the app request. Then, go to the Comments tab to enter your feedback regarding the app's approval or rejection.

Step 4: Click Export to export the details of the app request.
Step 5: Use the Filter to narrow down to the relevant app request data.
