Performing Bulk Action on User Profiles

To streamline the process of editing large volumes of User Profiles data, Josys enables IT Admins to bulk edit user details, including User Status, Department, Job Title, Work Location, User Category, Start Date, and Additional Information. Further, the IT Admin can also bulk delete user profiles.

Note: 

• Josys supports performing bulk operations on up to 100 User Profiles at once.
• If you perform a bulk action on more than 25 profiles, then you can check the status from Scheduled Tasks.

Steps to Edit Bulk User Profiles

Step 1: Navigate to User Profiles on the left. 

Step 2: Select multiple user profiles by checking the corresponding checkboxes. This will activate the bulk operations, as shown in the image below.

Bulk Edit User Status

Step 1: After selecting multiple user profiles, select Change Status.

Step 2: Select the desired user's status from the given options in the dropdown list - Initiated, Active, Suspended, Terminated, Deleted, Others, or Archived, and then click Update. 

This updates the status of the selected user profiles with the new status.

You can edit only the User Category and the Additional Information of the Shadow Users.

Bulk Edit User Department

Step 1: After selecting multiple user profiles, click the Change Department.

Step 2: Select the desired user's department(s) from the given dropdown list, and then click Update. 

This updates the department information of the selected user profiles.

Note: 

• You can create a new department from Settings>>Departments.
• Department cannot be edited for users synced from external data sources.

Bulk Edit Job Title

Step 1: After selecting multiple user profiles, clickand select Job Title.

Step 2: Enter the Job Title that you want to assign to the user profile and then click Update. 

This assigns the job title to the selected user profiles.

Bulk Edit Work Location

Step 1: After selecting multiple user profiles, clickand select Work Location.

Step 2: Select the desired user's work location from the given dropdown list, and then click Update. 

This changes the job location of the selected user profiles. Note: You can create a new work location from Settings>>Company>>Work Locations.

Bulk Edit User Category

Step 1: After selecting multiple user profiles, clickand select User Category.

Step 2: Select the desired user's category from the given dropdown list, and then click Update. 

This changes the user's category of the selected user profiles.

Bulk Edit Start Date

Step 1: After selecting multiple user profiles, clickand select Start Date.

Step 2: Select the desired user's start date from the calendar, and then click Update. 

This changes the start date of the selected user profiles.

Bulk Edit Additional Info

Step 1: After selecting multiple user profiles, clickand select Additional Info.

Step 2: Enter the desired additional info in the given field, and then click Update. 

This added the additional info of the selected user profile.

Bulk Delete User Profiles

You can remove the multiple user profiles from Josys by selecting them and clicking Delete. This will delete all selected user profiles.
