Integrating Box with Josys enables the IT Admin to view and manage accounts.
Key benefits
When you integrate Josys with Box, you can:
- View: List of user accounts, including their status, roles, device pinning, login verification exemption status, external collaboration restrictions, platform access limitations, and the option to enable Box Sync.
- Perform actions: Create, mark a user as inactive, prevent editing/deletion, restrict deletion/editing/uploads, and delete user account.
Note: Josys supports multiple Box integrations.
Prerequisites
Before you begin with the integration, make sure that you have:
- A Box Admin Account.
- A Business Starter plan, Business plan, Business Plus plan, Enterprise plan, or Enterprise Plus plan.
Steps to integrate
Step 1: Go to the Apps tab on the side panel, and select Apps Catalogue.
Step 2: Select the Box and initiate a new integration.

Step 3: Enter an appropriate label to identify the integration and click Next.

Step 4: Sign in using an account having admin privileges.. Follow the steps prompted to complete the integration , after which accounts will be retrieved from Box and will be associated with users on Josys. Please note that this process may take some time, depending on the total volume of data.
