Integrating Linear with Josys enables the IT Admin to view and manage the user accounts.
Key benefits
When you integrate Josys with Linear, you can
- View: List of user accounts, including their status, roles, teams, and timestamp of the user account creation and updation.
- Perform actions: Add, activate, and suspend the user account, and email another user.
Note: Josys supports multiple Linear integrations.
Prerequisites
Before you begin with the integration, make sure that you have:
- A Linear admin account
- An API Key
- A Free, Basic, Business, or Enterprise plan
Locating the API Key
Step 1: Log in to Linear using an account with admin privileges.
Step 2: From your Workspace, select Workspace settings.
Step 3: In the My account menu, select API.
Step 4: Provide a name to the API Key for integration, then click Generate new API key.
Step 5: Copy the API key to use later in the integration steps.
Steps to Integrate
Step 1: Select Linear from the App Catalog in the Apps section.
Step 2: Provide a suitable Label in the respective field.
Step 3: Enter the API Key in the respective field, as copied in the previous section.
Step 4: Click Next to proceed.
Step 5: After the integration is complete, allow some time for data synchronization. You can now view and perform required actions from the Managed Apps in the Apps section.
