This article involves the steps to manage device models for your devices effectively.
With the Device Models, you can:
- View the list of device models configured for your devices.
- Add and delete the device model
- Add, update, and delete the device model image.
Steps to Add a Device Model
Step 1: Log in to Josys using your admin credentials.
Step 2: Navigate to the Settings menu and select the Device Models option.
Step 3: Click Add.
Step 4: On the Device Models screen, you can do the following:
- Device Model Number: Enter the model number of the device in this field.
- Image: Click Upload to select and upload a device model image for the device model. To remove an existing model image, click Delete Photo. Note that only .png and .jpg image formats are supported.
Step 5: Click Add.
The Device Model added here can now be associated with the devices.
Steps to Manage Device Models
Step 1: Locate the device model from the list of available models.
Step 2: Click 
on the respective device model to perform any of the following actions:
- Update Image: Change the current image of the device model.
- Delete Photo: Remove the image associated with the device model.
- Delete Model: Remove the device model from the Josys application. Doing so also removes the device model details from its associated device.
By following the above steps, you can manage device models within the Josys application.
