Permissions allow configuring the access rights for Tracked Apps, Users, Integrated Apps, Devices, and Scheduled Tasks. This article provides the steps to set the permissions for the Super Admin and IT Admin, ensuring user management and access control.
Steps to edit Super Admin/IT Admin Role
Step 1: Navigate to Settings in the left navigation bar and select User Permissions.
Step 2: Navigate to the User whose permission you want to modify.
Step 3: Click
and select Edit.

Step 4: You can change the following types of permissions:
a) Tracked Apps
- Tracked Apps/Editor: Grants full access to Tracked Apps. The user can perform all associated actions, such as add, delete, deactivate, etc.
- Tracked Apps/Viewer: Grants read-only access to Tracked Apps. The user can only view the tracked apps.
- No Access: This will hide the Tracked App tab from the Managed Apps and won't be visible to the user.
b) Users
- No Permission: The user cannot perform any action on the user profiles.
- Users/Editor (with data export): Grants full access to the user profiles. The user can perform all associated actions, including the ability to export the user profile data.
- Users/Editor (without data export): Grants full access to the user profiles. The user can perform all associated actions, excluding the ability to export the user profile data.
- Users/Viewer: Grants read-only user access. You can allow the user to only view the user profile details without making any changes.
c) Integrated Apps
- No Permission: The users will not be able to view the following menu in the navigation bar:
- Access (Apps)
- Security (Apps)
- Licenses (Apps)
- Integration (Utilities)
- Integrated Apps/Editor: Grants full access to all the integrated apps.
- Integrated Apps/Editor (assigned apps): Grants full access to only the assigned integrated apps.
- Integrated Apps/Viewer: Grants only read-only access to all the integrated apps.
- Integrated Apps/Viewer (assigned apps): Grants only read-only access to all the assigned integrated apps.
d) Devices
- No Permission: The user cannot perform any action on the devices.
- Devices/Editor (with data export): Grants full access to all the devices. The user can fully access the devices, along with the ability to export the device's data.
- Devices/Editor (without data export): Grants full access to all the devices, excluding the ability to export the device's data.
- Devices/Viewer: Grants only read-only access to all the devices. You can allow the user to only view the device's details without making any changes.
Step 5: After making the selection, click Save to modify the role of the user.
Steps to delete Super Admin/IT Admin Role
Step 1: Click
and select Delete.

Step 2: Click Delete. This will remove the Super Admin Role from the selected user and update it to the IT User role.
