Once you have added a device to the application, you can assign these devices to the users.
Assign the Device to the User
To assign a device:
Step 1: Go to a device that you want to assign to the user from the Devices screen. Click Assign under Current User.

Step 2: Select a user from the following screen to allocate the device. The allocation of devices takes place in two stages:
- Select User Profile: Select a user from the given list to allocate the device.
- Enter Assignment Date: Select a date on which you want to allocate the device.

Step 3: You may also search for a user by their first name, last name, and email, and then select them to assign the device.
Step 4: After selecting the user, click Next.

Step 5: Select the Assignment Date from the Calendar to assign the device to the user on the specific date.
Step 6: Click Assign to assign the device.

Once the device is assigned, the status of the device is changed to “In Use” and the user’s name is displayed in the device details screen.
Edit Assignment Date
To edit the device assignment date:
Step 1: Go to the device whose assignment date you want to change.
Step 2: Select Edit Assignment Date.

Step 3: On the Edit Assignment Date screen, change the date and click Save to save the new date. This will change the assignment date of the device for the user.

Unassign Device to the User
To unassign the device to the user:
Step 1: Select the device that you want to unassign and select Unassign.

Step 2: Select the date from which you want to unassign the device from the user.
Step 3: Select the status to allocate to the device after unassigning it from the user, and click Unassign.

Note: While changing the date, make sure that the End Date is the same or greater than the selected date.
When the device status is changed to the selected status in the previous step, then a success message is displayed.
